Face it, we all love free giveaways and promotional products are often a win-win situation for both the giver and the receiver. Whether it's for a big event, an employee or customer gift, or a completely different reason, every company, and organization are excited to give out products that will spread their message and brand so it needs to be an item that their target audience will love receiving. When we love something, we tend to keep it around for a while and actually use it.

It’s FREE! This is the most obvious and probably the main reason people go crazy over free giveaways. It is human nature for people to get excited about getting something for nothing!
It’s an unexpected treat. Whenever we attend an event, sometimes we have no idea if there will be giveaways or swag and if so, will it even be something that we will actually enjoy, take home, and use. When you go to an event with zero expectations, it is easy to get excited even when you're given a little extra something FOR FREE! We all love going into a department store to buy something and unexpectedly find out that your purchase came with a free gift of some kind. WINNER! WINNER!
Close to mind. With all the organizations we belong to and the events we attend today, we can easily have swag overload. Even though you may have drawers of T-shirts, koozies, and water bottles, the companies and organizations promoting their brand on these products will always stay fresh in your mind each time you use their giveaways.
How cool is that! There is nothing more exciting than to receive a promotional product that you didn’t even have a clue existed and you LOVE it! Those are the ones we use over and over and tell our friends about. You not only remember the product but the company or organization that gave it to you.
The convenience of it all. No matter how many pens, notepads, sticky notes, tees, or sunglasses we have received, we will keep and use them for a long time because they are practical and useful. Think of the last time you actually had to go buy a pen or notepad? That’s right. You can’t remember because it’s been too long ago!.
